MT4: Your Trading Hub

 

As previously discussed, MetaTrader 4 (MT4) is a cornerstone tool for forex traders. It serves as your command center for placing, managing, and analyzing trades. While MT5 offers additional features, MT4 remains a popular choice for its simplicity and reliability.

 

 

Getting Started with MT4

MT4 is readily available on both Android and iOS platforms. Simply search for "MetaTrader 4" or "MT4" in your respective app store and download the application.

 

Understanding the MT4 Interface

Upon launching MT4, you'll be greeted by the "Market Watch" window, displaying a list of tradable currency pairs. This initial list is curated, but you can easily customize it to suit your trading preferences.

 

Tailoring Your Market Watch

To remove unwanted currency pairs from the Market Watch:

1. Click the "Edit" button (pencil icon) at the top right corner.

2. Select the pairs you wish to remove by clicking on the trash icon.

3. Confirm your selection by clicking the tick icon.

 

 

To add new currency pairs:

1. Click the "Add" button at the top right corner.

2. Follow the on-screen prompts to select and add the desired pair.
